True Blood Wedding, Vermont Style

So the Wedding Blogs and Twittosphere is a buzz with what a True Blood wedding might look like. If you're not a fan of the Sookie Stackhouse novels or the TV series, the following might not make a whole lot of sense, but you might still get some elegant ideas for a gold and silver wedding.

Seeing how Bill was planning to take Sookie to Vermont (I love that this must be the first or only place that vamp/human weddings are allowed, just like with gay weddings), I thought it would be neat to figure out how they'd do it up, Vermont style.

First off, the location. What better than the historic Hildene Lincoln Family home:

Then, of course, the invitation. I think Sookie and Bill would be more classic and refined. Despite he's former habits, Bill is a refined southern gentleman, so I designed this 7x7 layered invitation with gold and silver:

And then there is Sookie's dress- a deep champagne color from Manolo (oddly, the model looks a little like Jessica):

And of course, decor: highly elegant with a ton of candles (it'd have to be a night-time wedding of course!)
