Northern Vermont Reception Sites

In northern Vermont, there are numerous ski areas and activities for your guests to enjoy. The Trapp Family Lodge, located just outside of Stowe, Vermont is a beautiful setting for a winter wedding. Their Mozart room can host up to 100 people. The Mozart Room is a stunning post and beam, high-ceiling room with a brick fireplace to add that extra touch of elegance for your wedding celebration. They also off their main dining room and for smaller receptions, the Salzberg Room, which can seat up to 50 guests. Guests can enjoy cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, massages and downhill skiing nearby.

If you are looking for a reception facility to house more guests, The Ponds at Bolton Valley Resort can accommodate up to almost 300 guests with enough room for a DJ and dance floor. They participate in the Vermont Fresh Network, meaning much of your food will be locally produced. And, as a thank you to the bride and groom, the Ponds will invite you back for your first anniversary for a one-night stay and dinner at Bolton Valley Resort, and will also gift you a Season Pass for alpine skiing valid during the winter season following your event.
