The Biggest Wedding Faux Pas EVER

I was reading Dear Abby yesterday and came across a reader who had written in inquiring about the lack of tact of a couple who included a savings deposit ticket in with their wedding invitation requesting cash only gifts.

Uh What???

Not only is that the ultimate in bad etiquette, but how dumb can you be? You've just given out your savings account number to everyone that you've mailed your account number to who knows how many people. It would serve them right to have their money go missing.

Tsk tsk. Never ask for money in invitations for any event (even showers). It's something that should be word of mouth ONLY.
